When Foodies hook up with non-Foodies

I found this article from the Wall Street Journal pretty interesting.

Have you ever had to negotiate this sort of thing in a relationship? What do you think?

  1. I can totally relate to this article!
It actually goes further than Foodies / Non-foodies for me.
My mum is Italian, so I've been used to tomato sauce since the day I was born.
My boyfriend doesn't like tomato sauce, he's a real Alsacian, using cream for everything.
We are fighting over this all the time.
    Cream versus tomato sauce!
Seriously, who doesn't like fresh made tomato sauce with pasta?????

  2. This article was really great to read and it is a problem that my family has had to deal with on a regular basis. My brother's wife refuses to eat basically any type of vegetable besides green beans and so whenever we have dinner all together we need to work around that. As much as we love her, we really get very exasperated by how non-adventurous she is with her veggies! I would hate to see what would happen to her if my family made more exciting dishes like frog legs or goat...
